City of Kars hosts event dedicated to Azerbaijan’s social and economic development

Istanbul, December 27 (AZERTAC). An event dedicated to the social and economic development of Azerbaijan in the last decade has been held in the city of Kars in Turkey.

The event was co-organized by the Azerbaijan Culture House and Consulate General of Azerbaijan in this city.

Head of the Kars municipality Nevzat Bozkus spoke about Azerbaijan’s achievements under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in the last decade. He also highlighted various projects being realized by Azerbaijan and stressed the role of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway in social and economic development of Turkey, especially Kars.

Consul general of Azerbaijan to Kars Aykhan Suleymanov highlighted President Ilham Aliyev’s domestic and foreign policy, as well as his role in strengthening the Azerbaijan-Turkey relations. The consul general also said Azerbaijan’s economic development increases the welfare of people and also contributes to progress of Turkey.
