Baku. 27.10.04 /AzerTAj/. Under “Rehabilitation of Blood Transfusion Service” project implemented by the Government of Norway and UNDP in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, the conference “Clinical Use of Blood” took place at the Hyatt Regency-Nakhchivan in Baku. Specialists from Azerbaijan, Russia and Norway exchanged views on modern approaches to clinical use of blood, blood transfusion therapy and further development of the national blood transfusion service. The conference was also attended by Minister of Health Ali Insanov, chairman of the Milli Majlis commission for social policy Khady Rajablie, UN resident coordinator in Azerbaijan Marco Borsotti, ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Azerbaijan Steinar Gil, representative of the World Health Organization in Azerbaijan Farman Abdullayev.
