DAY OF GERMAN UNITY MARKED IN BAKU
Ambassador of Germany to Azerbaijan Detlef Lingeman greeted the audience gathered at the Hyatt Nakhchivan Hotel, and spoke of the political, economic and cultural links between two countries, noting currently these relations develop much more speedy. The Ambassador, in particular, said that last years the business links between Germany and Azerbaijan had strengthened, the German business develops here intensively. The mutual efforts will continue for further cooperation in numerous fields, the Ambassador stressed.
Deputy speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament Arif Rahimzade, congratulated the people of Germany on this landmark Day, extended his greetings and wishes. He said the state of Azerbaijan highly assesses the fair position of Germany in settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. We believe that Germany will further uphold the fair cause of Azerbaijan, he emphasized.
At the reception, also were taking part the state and government officials, foreign ambassadors in Baku, public representatives.
