EDUCATION MINISTER MEETS WITH IRI AMBASSADOR TO AZERBAIJAN
Education Minister Misir Mardanov met with Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan Afshar Suleymani.
M. Mardanov stressed the importance of President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Iran in January 2005. Minister lingered around the bilateral education ties between two nations and found a need to sign an agreement on cooperation in higher education.
The Ambassador, for his part, shared Minister’s views. According to him, 6 diplomas of Azerbaijan higher education institutions are recognized in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The diplomat said Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technologies invited M. Mardanov to his country.
