English researcher works over the book about Azeri prominent writer
Baku, November 29 (AZERTAC). The English poet, writer and researcher David Perry works over the book about outstanding Azerbaijan playwright Mirza Fatali Akhundzade. He took part in performance of the comedy “Musyo Zhordan and Dervish Mastali Shah” by Akhundzade on the English scene.
In an interview to correspondent of AZERTAC David Perry said: "When my student Sanan Aliyev has acquainted me with this comedy, I have been amazed. This really outstanding work is also written in the style accessible to Europeans. After acquaintance with M. F. Akhundzade`s rich creativity you understand that without Shakespeare it is impossible to understand Moliere, without Moliere – it is impossible to understand Akhundzade. They are links of one chain".
Now, D. Perri with a great interest studies the Azerbaijan literature, is interested in creativity of Nasimi. “Nasimi is the world treasury,” he considers. After I will finish the book about M. F. Akhundzade, I think to write also about creativity of Nasimi”, he stressed.
