EXXON-AZERBAIJAN DELIVERS NEW VOLUMES OF CHILDREN’S ENCYCLOPEDIA TO ENCAMPMENTS
Following the tradition whose foundation was laid in 1999, the company Exxon-Azerbaijan with the assistance of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society has delivered three new volumes of Children’s Encyclopedia dealing with economy, ocean and space to encampment in southern region of Azerbaijan.
The multi-volume encyclopedia issued by printing House “Ayna” in Latin script covers such areas as ecology, sports, history, art, information science and oil industry. Texts and photos have been prepared by professional writers, painters and scholars of Azerbaijan.
The charitable programs implemented by “Exxon Mobile” in Azerbaijan mainly deal with education. The company has also rendered assistance in issuing textbooks in Latin script, provides school libraries with manuals, and higher educational establishments with computers.
