FIRST VICE-PREMIER OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS RUSSIAN DELEGATION
First Vice-Premier of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov received the delegation headed by Vice-Prime Minister of Russia, Chief of Staff for the Cabinet of Ministers Sergey Naryshkin, 31 August.
Yagub Eyyubov, welcoming the guests, expressed confidence, that arrangement, which will be reached during the first working visit of the Vice-Premier of the government of Russia to Azerbaijan, would become stimulus to expansion of the bilateral cooperation fruitfully developing for last years in all directions. A greater role in finding a new level of the Azerbaijan-Russian relations have played the friendly and trustful relations developed between heads of two states - Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin.
The Vice-Premier of the RF Government Sergey Naryshkin, in turn, has emphasized, that Russia "evaluates the brotherly, allied relations with Azerbaijan", closely watches development of economic situation in the neighboring country. He has stressed necessity of definition of date of the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, discussions of long-term plans both in the field of economy and humanitarian spheres.
