The unique flora of Nagorno-Garabakh region of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia is in danger.

The medium mountainous zone of the region at the height of 1800 meters above the sea level abounds in scarce unique trees such as oak, hornbeam, eastern beach and birch. Now, the Armenian aggressors began destroying endangered gene pool by felling the trees to make furniture.

There were some reserves in these zones some time ago.

Although Azerbaijani scholars raised this issue at the international scientific forums, the aggressor does not give up its intentions.
