FM OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER OF POLAND
Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov today met with the visiting deputy foreign minister of Poland Andrei Kramer.
Noting the Azeri-Polish historical ties, Mr. Mammadyarov said mutual understanding in political field is high level between the two countries and stressed necessity of the strengthening of economic potential. The Minister highly appreciated position of Poland in settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and support for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity rendered by Polish government.
Andrei Kramer said Azerbaijan was a strategic partner of Poland in region, underlining importance of expansion of all-round contacts, continuation of cooperation between the relevant ministries and departments of both countries. He invited Elmar Mammadyarov to pay an official visit to Warsaw.
In meeting, also focused were issues concerning use of Polish experience in integration to Europe, expansion of the group of “GUAM’S Friends”, establishment of dialogue on security, mutual investments, cooperation in cultural and humanitarian spheres.
