Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad continues with discussions

The second day of the Forum of the Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad saw discussions on topics such as “Development of data science can become one of the priority domains in Azerbaijan”, “The role of mathematical models in forecasting and assessing the impact of human interventions”, “The current attitude toward cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of science and education", “Scientific and educational relations between Azerbaijan and Scandinavia, as well as other Western European countries", “Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanis in Arabic sources”, “Features and prospects for scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia”.
The second day saw the drafting and adoption of the common and long-lasting strategy plan.
The three-day event brings together nearly 200 scientific figures, including over 80 Azerbaijani scholars and Nobel laureates from 23 countries.
The forum aims to foster connections among Azerbaijani scientists abroad, facilitate interactions with local scientists, and promote the exchange knowledge and experience.
The Forum participants will also visit the cities of Shusha and Khankendi and engage in discussions with teaching staff at the Garabagh University.
The Forum will run until September 11.
