Dear President Aliyev,

I would like to wish you all the best as you celebrate your birthday. Considering your many great achievements and well-earned successes, you have a life worthy of celebration.

I would also like to extend my congratulations over your recent reelection to the Presidency of Azerbaijan. You obviously have the confidence of the Azerbaijani people, and I am eager to continue working with you to promote relations between your country and the United States.

As a member of Congress representing parts of Houston, Texas, I especially value our relationship with our sister city, Baku. With your help we can continue to make progress in the areas of regional security, economic and energy development, diversity and inclusiveness.

I enjoyed getting the chance to meet you and experience your culture during my trip to Azerbaijan. It is my hope to visit again soon.
