Heads of Caspian littoral states ports meet in Baku
Baku, November 8 (AZERTAC). The Caspian littoral states have discussed the possibilities of increasing capacities of the ports.
The two-day meeting of the heads of the Caspian littoral states ports is underway in the capital of Azerbaijan. The meeting is organized under the initiative of State Maritime Administration of Azerbaijan and Baku International Sea Trade Port.
The meeting is aimed at increasing capacities of the Caspian Sea ports and the freight turnover, as well as discussing prospects for development of multilateral cooperation.
On the sidelines of the forum, the heads of the sea ports of the Caspian littoral states visited National Identification and Tracking Center under the State Maritime Administration of Azerbaijan.
Deputy chief of the Administration Shahlar Mammadov provided an insight into the functions of the Center.
