HEADS OF FRONTIER SERVICES OF AZERBAIJAN AND RUSSIA MEET
Delegations led by Chief of the State Frontier Service of the Azerbaijan Republic, lieutenant- general E. Gouliyev and commander of the Frontier Troops of the Russian Federation colonel-general V. Pronichev have met in the territory of the Gusar district of Azerbaijan, 1 November, press service of Frontier Service of the Republic told AzerTAj.
Discussed were current situation in the region and on the Russia-Azerbaijan border, undertaken measures to strengthen border protection, as well as current state and further development of cooperation between the frontier services of two countries, and also was considered the Mutual Contact Plan signed on 17 March 2004 in Baku.
The meeting passed in a friendly and mutual understanding atmosphere.
