Heydar Aliyev International Airport certified as 4-Star Airport

Skytrax Air Travel Rating and Reviews has announced that Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport has been certified as 4-Star Airport in the final round of airport ranking, vice-president of the “Silk Way Group” Eldar Hajiyev said.
At his words, the Heydar Aliyev International Airport was included in the list of world’s 18 airports with the highest rank.
The Airport is one of the five international airports serving Azerbaijan, with approximately 1 million passengers a year. The airport is located 20 km northeast of the capital Baku and is linked to the city by two modern highways. It is the base hub of the Azerbaijan Airlines, the national flag carrier.
