IFC VICE-PRESIDENT HOLDS PRESS CONFERENCE
Visiting International Finance Corporation Vice President responsible for the Europe and Central Asia regions Declan Duff gave a news conference Friday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Duff said IFC has to date invested $250 mln in Azerbaijan over the past 12 years. He noted IFC will expand its activities here, covering agriculture and infrastructure.
Duff said the IFC`s aim is to support private sector in Azerbaijan. IFC is currently implementing over 20 projects in a variety of sectors.
According to IFC Vice-President, IFC is going to allot mortgage loans to one of banks in Azerbaijan in order to develop mortgage market in the country.
