Iran Aseman signs contract with Boeing to buy 60 planes

Iran Aseman Airlines has inked an agreement with Boeing Aircraft Manufacturing Company to purchase 60 Boeing 737 MAX passenger planes, according to IRNA.

The agreement was sealed with the attendance of Boeing representatives in Tehran after a year of negotiations between the Iranian company and Boeing.

Boeing Company is an American corporation designing, manufacturing, and selling airplanes worldwide.

The Boeing 737 MAX is an American narrow-body jetliner series being developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes as the successor to the Boeing 737 Next Generation series.

After the nuclear deal between Iran and six world powers and the lifting of sanctions, Iranian airlines are trying to modernize their fleets with new planes.
