Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan visits Western University

Baku, November 23 (AZERTAC). Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mario Baldi has today visited the Western University, where he met students and teaching staff.

Discussions focused on cooperation among NATO, the European Union and Azerbaijan.

Rector of the University Zemfira Mammadova highlighted the activity and successes of the university.

President of the NATO Cooperation Institute Farrukh Mammadov said Azerbaijan enjoys close cooperation with European countries.

Then, the Italian ambassador responded to students` questions.

Deputy military attache of Italian embassy in Turkey Danielle Melis was present at the event.
