Italian website highlights Baku 2015 European Games

Rome, January 29 (AZERTAC). Italian "Sport 24h" website has posted an article about the inaugural European Games to be held in Azerbaijan in 2015.

The article says that it was no coincidence that the European Olympic Committees had decided to grant the first European Games to Baku.

“Azerbaijani sport is an integral part of the Olympic movement,” says the article, praising the fact that the Games will bring together representatives of many nations.

The article lauds the Azerbaijani government`s attention to developing sport and solving youth problems.

It hails preparations for the Games as excellent, and also praises the decision of the Organizing Committee to include karate, which is a non-Olympic sport, in the list of the sports to be contested in Baku in 2015.
