JAPAN SUPPORTS AZERBAIJAN’S TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY
Japan supports territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, said the visiting vice minister for foreign affairs of Japan Ms. Midori Matsushima in Baku 15 August.
Noting that cooperation between the two countries has always been at high level, Matsushima said these relations have strengthened after the official visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Japan.
Japan is keen in wider cooperation with Azerbaijan, especially in the energy field, the Japanese diplomat underscored.
Noting that Japanese companies do not function at the Azerbaijan areas occupied by Armenian armed forces, she said maintenance of peace and safety in Azerbaijan is important for the entire region.
