Japanese judo stars to compete in Baku Grand Slam 2025
Baku, February 5, AZERTAC
Strong Japanese judo line-up will be up in action at the Grand Slam in Baku, set to be held on February 14-16.
Female and male fighters, including Olympic and world medallists Natsumi Tsunoda (48kg), Uta Abe (52kg), Ryuju Nagayama (60kg), Tatsuki Ishihara (73kg) and Sanshiro Murao (90kg) will showcase their skills at the competition.
Ono Shohei, with two Olympic golds and 3 world championship titles, is also expected to join the Baku tournament as a coach.
The Baku Grand Slam 2025 will bring together 281 judokas from 39 countries.
