JOINT SEMINAR LAUNCHED IN BAKU
Douglas Townsend, chief adviser of the Center, headquarters of which locates in Washington and office was opened in Azerbaijan, in 2000, informed on goals of the seminar and to-be-discussed topics.
Chairman of the State Customs Committee, colonel-general of customs service Kamaladdin Heydarov dwelt on work carried out in the customs area.
He noted that development of customs service in Azerbaijan and successes achieved in socio-economic sphere linked with the name of the outstanding personality of present, wise and farsighted political figure, national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Vice-president of BP Nil McLir, Vice-President of Exxon Mobil companies James Hensley and others noted the seminar would create opportunities for customs bodies to render assistance to development of investors, operating companies and private structures.
The seminar to end March 26 will present certificates to the distinguished participants.
