LAW “ON POLITICAL PARTIES” TO BE AMENDED
The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan will make amendments and supplements in its autumn session to the law “On Political Parties”.
According to deputy speaker of the Milli Majlis Bahar Muradova, these changes will deal with political parties’ relationships with the state and society.
She said the philosophy of the law must be changed, and financial problems of political parties must be settled. The principle of representation in the parliament and circle of the political organization are to be taken into consideration in government’s funding the parties.
