On September 10, leaders of the Youth movement “Heydar Aliyev – Choice of the Youth” met with representatives of the veteran organizations and members of shahid’s families at the press center “Khalg”.

The meeting held under the motto “Let’s vote for stability and development”, was addressed by coordinators of the movement “Heydar Aliyev – Choice of the Youth” Ibrahim Mustafayev and Ramil Hasanov. They stressed that the purpose of the youth movement, embracing over 150 organizations was to support Heydar Aliyev’s candidacy at the election on October 15, 2003. I. Mustafayev said: “Opinion Polls once more validated the high rating of the President of Azerbaijan. Polls conducted by representatives of the Council of Europe, showed that over 70 percent of electors will vote in favor of Heydar Aliyev’s candidacy on the day of elections.”

The meeting participants emphasized the president’s role in establishment of the Azerbaijani statehood and highly appreciated his political course. They expressed confidence that electors will support Heydar Aliyev’s candidacy on the upcoming elections and they also provided overall analysis of the pre-election campaign of the other candidates for the presidency.
