Libya al-Ahbariyya`s article hails activities of Heydar Aliyev Foundation
Baku, June 26 (AZERTAC). Libyan Libya al-Ahbariyya newspaper has posted an article hailing the activities of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Titled “The Heydar Aliyev Foundation: supporting talents, promoting the Azerbaijani culture, organizing exhibitions, and contributions to scientific researches” was published on the initiative of the Azerbaijani embassy in Libya.
The article says that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was established with the aim of perpetuating the memory of the founder of the independent Azerbaijani state, great leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and studying and promoting his rich heritage.
The article notes that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which started its activity in 2004, has been implementing important projects in the areas of education, public health, culture, sports, science and technology, and environment.
It hails the Foundation`s role in promoting Azerbaijan`s heritage abroad.
The article also praises the Foundation`s cooperation with local and foreign foundations, NGO-s and voluntary organizations.
It stresses that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is doing a great job to support and develop talented individuals and address problems of people in different parts of the country, particularly vulnerable groups.
