London hosts concert marking Azerbaijan’s Victory Day

A concert titled “Melody of Unity, Harmony of Victory” by Azerbaijani compatriot, Honored Artist, musician Elchin Shirinov was organized in famous arts and cultural center in London - Kings Place on the occasion of the Victory Day of the Azerbaijani people.
The concert, organized with the support of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan, was attended by official figures, Azerbaijani compatriots and representatives of the local community.
The concert began with a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and provided extensive information about the glorious history of Victory of Azerbaijani people.
The speakers once again drew attention to the historical significance of the liberation of Azerbaijan’s lands from occupation thanks to the determination of Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, and the heroism of Azerbaijan’s Army.
Then, jazz-style improvisations of Azerbaijani music were performed by Elchin Shirinov and the accompanying masters of art from different nations.
The concert received a standing ovation from the audience.
