Khankendi, May 1, AZERTAC
Diplomatic corps representatives accredited in Azerbaijan visited the Garabagh University Clinic in Khankendi, as well as the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, to familiarize themselves with their activities.
Foreign diplomats were briefed on the faculty. Dean Samir Babayev noted that the faculty’s academic building is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art facilities. It comprises 10 classrooms, 9 lecture halls, 3 laboratories, examination and study rooms, recreation areas, libraries, and briefing halls. The facility also houses microbiology and histology laboratories, and various administrative offices.
The modern education model to be introduced will allow students to convert their theoretical knowledge into practical skills at the Garabagh University Clinic. Students are also given extensive opportunities to engage in research and develop leadership competencies. A distinctive feature of the faculty is the inclusion of an arts program as an elective in the curriculum.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan, accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, visited East Zangezur and Garabagh.
