MINISTER OF EDUCATION MEETS WFP REPS
Misir Mardanov, Azeri Minister of Education has met with Rahman Chowdhury, WFP (World Food Program) Country Director in Azerbaijan and Karina Smith, WFP expert.
During the meeting, Mr. Mardanov stressed the significance of the WFP projects in Azerbaijan, the Ministry said.
Mr. Chowdhury, in his turn, noted that 5300 students of the elementary schools have been provided with the food within the “Food for Education” program. WFP is set to render food aid to the 60 thousand elementary school students in 700 schools, he added.
In conclusion, the sides shared their views on other projects of the 'Food for Education' program.
