NEW RESIDENCE OF AZERBAIJAN EMBASSY OPENED IN TASHKENT
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Aydin Azimbayov opened the ceremony attended by foreign ambassador in Tashkent, the Azerbaijanis and public representatives.
Speaking at the ceremony, President of Azerbaijan said that the opening was a landmark event and would promote to further develop the friendly and fraternal traditions between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
Head of the Azerbaijani state wished success to the staff members of the Embassy and the Azerbaijanis residing here. President of Azerbaijan once again stressed the close roots of the two peoples.
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev especially stressed the role of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and President Islam Karimov in development of the Azerbaijani-Uzbek relations and said that opening of the Embassy during the state visit of President Ilham Aliyev was a landmark event.
Then, President Ilham Aliyev familiarized with the building of Embassy, after which the head of the Azerbaijani state met the Azerbaijanis in front of the Embassy and had comprehensive talk.
