OFFICIAL BEIJING NOT TO CHANGE ITS FRIENDLY POSITION TOWARDS AZERBAIJAN
Greeting the guest, the Speaker highly assessed the existing relations between two countries, stressing particular role of the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in this, as well as the documents signed during the visits of President Ilham Aliyev to China.
Mr. Alaskarov expressed hope that the People’s Republic of China would not change its official position related to settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Mr. Murtuz Alaskarov wished success in his further activity.
Ambassador Czhan Siun thanked for warm reception and kind words, in his turn, expressed gratitude for assistance he was rendered during his diplomatic mission in the country. China attentively watches dynamic development in Azerbaijan, he said. Currently the Chinese businessmen are to increase investments to Azerbaijan’s economy, the diplomat stressed. And the official China highly assesses the role of Azerbaijan in region. Beijing’s role will not change on resolution to the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh problem, he added.
At the meeting, also were exchanged views on several other questions of mutual interest.
