Photo exhibition dedicated to 20 January opens at Museum of Independence
Baku, January 18 (AZERTAC). A Photo exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of 20 January tragedy has opened today at the Azerbaijan Museum of Independence in Baku. The exposition features photographs by Tahir Jafarov, Ogtay Mammadov, Sanan Alasgarov and others.
Black January, also known as January Massacre was a violent crackdown of the Azerbaijani independence movement in Baku on January 19-20, 1990, pursuant to a state of emergency during the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
The exhibition will run till January 25.
