PREMIER OF CANADA MEETS REPRESENTATIVES OF AZERBAIJAN COMMUNITY
Premier of Canada Paul Martin met with representatives of the Azerbaijani community in this country – Masud Aliyev (Quebec Azerbaijanis Association), Ilham Akhundov (Canada-Azerbaijan Cooperation Organization) and Akber Majidov (Azerbaijan Cultural and Education Fund), embassy of Azerbaijan to Canada said.
In the meeting, discussed were issues related to current state of Azerbaijanis in this country, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, opening of the embassy of Canada in Azerbaijan and bilateral relations between two countries.
