PRESIDENT ALIYEV MEETS IRANIAN COUNTERPART AHMADINEJAD
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev met Tuesday with Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the sidelines of the second summit of the Caspian Sea littoral states in Tehran.
The two presidents stressed their bilateral relations in political, economic and other areas are developing in the interests of both countries.
Ilham Aliyev and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the Caspian Sea littoral states` summit contributes to the enhancement of relations both among the littoral states and in the region.
The two leaders also noted the importance of reciprocal visits in deepening Azerbaijan-Iran ties.
