PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT EMOMALI RAHMON OF TAJIKISTAN ON INDEPENDENCE DAY
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a message of congratulations on the Independence Day to the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The Azerbaijani leader expressed confidence that «the relations of traditional friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan will continue to develop and strengthen in accordance with the national interests of the two countries and peoples, promoting peace and progress in the entire region.»
«Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my firm belief that our talks as well as the agreements and documents signed during your recent official visit to Azerbaijan will give an additional impetus to development of our interstate relations.»
President Ilham Aliyev wished his Tajik counterpart robust health and success in his work, and the people of Tajikistan peace and prosperity.
