PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INSPECTS “LALE TEXTILE” FACTORY
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today visited the “Lale Textile” LLC’s factory in Yevlakh.
The factory employs over 600 people. It can produce 7 million manats worth of goods yearly. The factory manufactures children’s and adult’s wear and clothing for law-enforcement ministries. The average salary ranges from AZN 100 to 300.
President Ilham Aliyev inspected the equipment made in Turkey, Germany, Japan and other countries. Since there is no fabric production in Azerbaijan, raw materials have been brought from Turkey. However, preference will be given to local raw materials soon.
The Head of State was curious about the quality and assortment of goods, and stressed the need to switch to local raw materials. He noted that such production enterprises help create new jobs and develop regions.
