PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INSPECTS NEWLY CONSTRUCTED ROAD IN NARIMANOV DISTRICT OF BAKU

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today examined the newly constructed 1.4km-long road to lengthen the Nasib bey Yusifbeyli Street in the Narimanov district of Baku. The new avenue is designed to eliminate traffic congestion.
Transport Minister of Azerbaijan Ziya Mammadov updated the President about the road construction work to reduce traffic jams in the city.
The Head of State was also informed that the fifth bridge in Baku is set to be completed shortly.
The President stressed the importance of modernizing the Ganjlik square, enlarging the Vagif street, and building new roads in other parts of the city.
The Head of State got in the car and drove along the newly contracted road. President Aliyev gave recommendations concerning demolition of buildings and payment of indemnities to their tenants, and construction of other new roads to eliminate traffic jams.
