PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV MEETS US ENERGY SECRETARY SAMUEL BODMAN IN EDIRNE
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, who is in Edirne, Turkey, to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Turkey-Greece natural gas pipeline, met Sunday U.S. Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman.
Bodman highly praised Azerbaijan`s participation in large-scale projects, including the Turkey-Greece pipe.
Ilham Aliyev described energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States as successful.
He stressed Azerbaijan`s importance in terms of regional cooperation and energy security.
Both Ilham Aliyev and Samuel Bodman expressed confidence in further deepening of the two countries` energy cooperation.
