PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES PARTICIPANTS IN BAKU INTERNATIONAL FRONTIER CONFERENCE

The President expressed satisfaction with the fact that the Conference was organized in Baku. He pointed out the importance of discussing border security issues, which he said are of common interest. The Azerbaijani leader noted that cooperation between frontier services was of special importance at the time of possible terrorist attacks and other threats. “Uniting efforts and rapid response to any potential threat is of huge importance,” he emphasized.
Chief of the Hungarian Border Police, Gen. Jozef Bendek, who is also a chairman of the Conference, thanked the Azerbaijani President for excellent organization of the event. He pointed out the importance of such meetings in terms of experience exchange between border services.
General Bendek presented President Aliyev with a Gold Medal of the Conference.
