PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES PRESIDENT OF INTERNATIONAL GYMNASTICS FEDERATION BRUNO GRANDI
Noting Azerbaijan will do host a number of European and World Championships in the future, the FIG’s President said though they knew it would be the first tournament of such standard in Baku, they made sure the Federation had made the right choice. On behalf of the participants of the championships and his friends, Mr. Grandi thanked the President for the excellent organization of the 7th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, adding the Azerbaijani sportswomen made a considerable progress.
Thanking the FIG’s President for the warm words President Ilham Aliyev noted sports development was on the rise in the country and that the Azerbaijan athletes have gained serious achievements in many disciplines.
