PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN CONGRATULATED THE PEOPLE OF AZERBAIJAN ON HOLY RAMADAN
“Dear country-fellows,
I cordially congratulate you and all Azerbaijanis over the world on the occasion of Holy Ramadan, extend to each of you my best wishes.
On this holiday, I once again with deep respect remember bright memories of the brave sons of Azerbaijan who fell for sovereignty of the people and liberation of lands, and pray for them.
The sacred Ramadan during which the Holy Koran was sent down to the earth is a month inviting the people to unity for good intentions, by preservation of the pleasure of spiritual richness, moral cleanliness and moral-physical perfection demonstrates the triumph of good over the evil, the spiritual eminence over the passions.
Along its glorious and long history, the people of Azerbaijan has always believed in Almighty, devoted to the national roots, the religious-spiritual traditions. Return to the Islamic values during the independent years is one of the factors that played unprecedented role in moral-spiritual progress of our society, in the integrity and unanimity of our nation. High patriotism of the Azerbaijani youth, unbreakable will for strengthening of our state independence is the example of devotedness to such national-spiritual values.

The month of Ramadan is for Almighty and the moral debt of every Moslem before our sacred religion. With the feelings of pleasure and joy you complete the sacred Ramadan. I am confident that thanks to your torment before Allah and our religion and your prays for safety and tranquility of Azerbaijan, the Almighty shall not spare its mercy and compassion from our nation.
On this holiday, I once again wish all of you welfare, happiness to your families, and abundance at your homes.
