PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT OF AFGHANISTAN

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today has sent a congratulatory letter to his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai on the Independence Day.

“I hope that traditional friendship and cooperation between our countries will further develop and strengthen according to the interests of our peoples”, President Aliyev said in the letter.

The Head of State went on to extend his best wishes to the President and the people of Afghanistan.
