The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline project, which providing flow of one million barrels of oil per day to the world markets, will make an important contribution to the diversity and safety of the energy sources, at the same time will play a role in economic and social development of Azerbaijani and Georgian people.
I want once again to revere the memory of architect of this world-scale project - one of the examples of the modern advanced engineering, former President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. I believe this pipeline whose foundation was laid under him, and 80% of work on has been completed to date, will bring both political and economic and social benefit to the countries of the region.
Taking this opportunity, I once again indent to Your Excellency my best wishes for good health and happiness, and peace and progress of the friendly and brotherly people of Azerbaijan.
