PRESIDENT SENDS LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVE TO PARLIAMENT
President Ilham Aliyev sent a legislative initiative proposing amendments in some legislative acts aiming at strengthening responsibility for breach of traffic rules. The Parliament of Azerbaijan is to consider the new Draft shortly.
The Draft stipulates organization of secure and convenient traffic for vehicles and passengers on roads. It also suggests amendments in the Law “On Road Traffic” and the Code on Administrative Offences.
The Bill defines liability for officials and legal entities, as well as improves the rules for paying traffic fines.
