PRESIDENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND LITHUANIA MEET IN PRESENCE OF DELEGATIONS
After the one-on-one meeting, Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Valdas Adamkus of Lithuania continued their talks in presence of the two countries` delegations.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways of boosting energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
Valdas Adamkus stressed the importance of Ilham Aliyev`s current visit.
The Lithuanian leader said there are no disagreements between his country and Azerbaijan.
Adamkus said the dialogue with the Azerbaijani leader will be continued at the Vilnius Energy Summit in October this year.
President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan places particular emphasis on its relationships with Lithuania.
He noted Azerbaijan and Lithuania share common views, and that there are no problems between the two countries.
President Aliyev said Lithuania supports Azerbaijan`s moves towards EuroAtlantic integration.
He also stressed both Azerbaijan and Lithuania have political will to develop their economic relations.
