PRESS COUNCIL MADE PRESS-CARDS FOR SERVICE AUTOMOBILES OF EDITIONS
On presentation, there were deputies of Milli Majlis, members of Press Council, heads of press organs and employees of Management of the State Traffic Police. With the message on cards, speaking was chairman of Press Council Aflatun Amashov. Mr. A. Amashov has noted, that application of the cards would promote solution of two basic problems. The facts of fictitious use of rank of the journalist would be stopped, and employees of traffic police would create to representatives of press due condition for gathering the facts.
The Press Cards will be located under the forward and back glasses of service automobiles of editors. On their obverse part the inscription "PRESS", and on the back - validity, the name, the address of press organ, number of the machine and other important data will be designated.
Speakers have noted that these cards give nobody powers to break rules of traffic and not to submit to employees of police. On the contrary, the representatives of press using the given cards, should show high driver's culture.
