PREVENTIVE MEASURES TAKEN AGAINST “BIRD'S FLU”
Clearing up in the question on death of wild ducks in Nakhchivan, the chief of service Ismail Hasanov said the reason of death of these birds on coast of the Araz River was poisoning. They were lost, having poisoned with seaweed growing in water.
Though during the carried out inspections of blood, the virus of the “bird's flu” has not been found out in the lost birds, it was underlined necessity of carrying out of preventive measures.
It has been once again marked that deliveries from the countries in which disease is revealed, bird's meat, eggs, forages and fodder additives, the cargoes which are taking place under the control of veterinary service are forbidden, veterinary stations on borders have been brought to a strict operating regime. At meeting, has been especially marked the importance of restoration of sanitary - security zones on the poultry farms, granting information in mass media, including on tele-channels, a wide place to educational measures.
Also it has been marked that significant means for preventive measures from the budget were allocated.
