PROSECUTOR GENERAL OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS WITH MINISTER OF JUSTICE OF LITHUANIA
At the meeting, it has been marked that on the basis of traditionally friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Lithuania lay common features, feeling of respect to the history and culture of each other, and the main thing - solidarity in struggle for independence. Result of such close links was also signing in November 1993 of one of the first agreements on the post-Soviet space on legal cooperation between the Public Prosecutor bodies of two countries.
At the meeting, discussed were the questions on prospects of development of cooperation between the Public Prosecutor bodies of Lithuania and Azerbaijan.
Having expressed gratitude for warm reception, Minister of Justice of Lithuania Gintautas Buzhinskas has noted value of links of the close cooperation established between judicial authorities of Azerbaijan and Lithuania, has stated the opinion on the further development of these relations, including mutual relations between the Public Prosecutor bodies of the two countries.
