Rally to be held in Stockholm on 21st anniversary of Khojaly genocide
Baku, February 15 (AZERTAC). A rally will be held in the centre of Stockholm to mark the 21st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
The rally will bring together Swedish Azerbaijanis, local residents living in Sweden, representatives of the Swedish, Turkish, Uygur, Turkmen communities as well as journalists.
The rally aims to present ethnic cleansing by Armenians in Khojaly to the Swedish society, and to call them to support Azerbaijan on this matter.
A working group including Azerbaijanis living in Stockholm was set up for organizing the rally.
The event will see the adoption of an appeal to the Swedish government.
