SOCAR EXTRACTS NATURAL 695 BLN CM OF GAS IN 2009

Baku, May 18 (AzerTAC). SOCAR produced 695,590,000 cubic meters of natural gas in April this year.

SOCAR`s received 5, 750, 000 CM of gas from operating and joint companies and 346, 070, 000 cm of gas free of charge from the “Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli” field.

Besides, the company`s share in the joint projects was 58, 370, 000 cubic meters. SOCAR purchased 85, 390, 000 cubic meters of gas from “Shahdeniz” field.

In total, gas transfer to the state has stood at 1,067,260,000 cm during three months of 2009.
