SOCAR President meets with MVM Group CEO

SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Chief Executive Officer of MVM Group Károly Mátrai.
The meeting focused on cooperation between the companies across various areas of the energy sector, including ongoing projects and potential future partnerships.
The sides discussed prospects for expanding collaboration in gas supplies, infrastructure projects, sustainable energy solutions, and regional partnership.
During the meeting, SOCAR and MVM ONEnergy signed a new natural gas supply agreement, effective from January 1, 2026, enhancing the strategic energy partnership between Azerbaijan and Hungary.
The new agreement, which builds on a previous successful framework, reinforces the companies’ commitment to regional energy security and further cooperation, strengthening their long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship.
