South Caucasus Pipeline provided with satellite internet by Azercosmos

Satellite internet has been provided for the Azerbaijani part of the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) to restore the necessary communication at the strategically important Pig Launching Station. The relevant contract was signed between SOCAR Midstream Operations company, the Technical and Commercial Operator of SCP, and Azercosmos.
The station is located outside the range of traditional means of communication. The use of satellite internet has further improved the quality of SCP technical operations by enhancing connectivity to remote areas.
Internet services are provided through the Azconnexus platform of the Azerspace-1 satellite.
